Who is Chris?

Who is Chris?

“I grew up in California, USA, and moved to Belgium 10 years ago, where I began teaching English. I think the best part of living here is how quickly we can travel to other parts of Europe and experience many languages and cultures. Even within Belgium, I’m often amazed by the treasures I discover when visiting a city or village for the first time.”

What drives Chris to give language training?

“My top priority in teaching is to focus the lessons on what the student needs to succeed. Usually, my students need to improve their spoken language, pronunciation, and presentation skills. I take great satisfaction in helping students gain confidence and expand their vocabulary, especially in relation to their professional interests.”

What makes him such a good and enjoyable language trainer?

“I make it clear from the first lesson: this is not the boring, passive environment where we learned languages at school. We are in a learning partnership! One-on-one lessons give the student maximum speaking time and maximize learning opportunities. I find it important to use the students’ work materials and integrate them into the lessons to make the sessions as relevant as possible.”
