Who is Antje?

Antje is originally from Dresden. She graduated from Leipzig University with a degree in Romance Languages (French, Italian and Spanish) and is also fluent in Dutch. She completed a training programme in inspirational coaching and has specialised in German language coaching in Belgium.

Experienced, patient and always passionate about her work, she combines “Fingerspitzengefühl” with linguistic and intercultural expertise and a touch of humour. She always looks for the best approach to help her learners make progress in German.

Where does Antje’s passion for languages and language training come from?

“I was born and began my studies behind the Iron Curtain in East Germany. I know very well how important languages are: they help us build bridges and connect with people.

Since then, I have gained first-hand experience in a wide range of industries. I have supported sales professionals entering the German market, helped students build the German language skills they need for a career in hospitality, and taught German in adult education and in collaboration with various language institutes. Over the years, I have trained federal civil servants, managers, EU staff and many other motivated learners.”

What makes her such a great and enjoyable language trainer to work with?

“I’m always curious about my learners’ goals and where they are starting from. And it’s never about perfection, but about progress. Let’s trust each other, and your German will follow!”
